Registration and Fees
Registration will commence on 1st September 2026, with Early Bird rates available until 15th January 2027. After this date, standard registration fees apply. The link to the registration website will be provided here as soon as registration opens.
Registration fees include:
- Admission to all conference sessions and discussions
- Access to the opening or closing ceremony
- Lunches and coffee breaks on 31st March, 1st and 2nd April 2027
- Technical Visits (additional registration required – registration available from February 2027)
- IGSTL Membership until the next WSSTL
- Public transport pass valid in Vienna during the symposium (paper ticket handed over during the on-site registration)
- Access to discounted travel options by our preferred travel partners (detailed information provided after the registration)
- Visa support letter (upon request, available from September 2026)
Not included in any registration category: Access to the Mayor’s Dinner – separate registration is necessary (see below).

*To receive the discounted registration rate, participants must provide a valid certificate during the registration process.
We use the classification by the World Bank to determine your fee categories.
- Low‑income countries: countries classified as Low income or Lower‑middle income.
- High‑income countries: countries classified as Upper‑middle or High income.

In addition to the four-day pass, we will provide one-day pass in addition to the conference pass, available for purchase at the price of 490 € for any one day of your choice between the 31st March and the 2nd April. There will be no discounted one-day pass for students and participants from low-income countries.
A visa support letter is issued only after your registration. Please note that the visa application process may take a few months. Please register as early as possible to have enough processing time for your Schengen visa application.
Mayor’s Welcome Dinner
The Mayor’s Dinner is scheduled for Tuesday, 31 March 2027 in the City Hall of Vienna. You need to book an additional ticket available for 120 €. You can add it during your registration process. Please keep in mind that the number of participants are limited and the ticket will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
