Your customer account for the congress will be automatically deleted after the event and therefore after your return journey.

Visa Information
Do you need a visa?
Citizens of EU member states, the European Economic Area (EEA), and Switzerland do not need a visa to enter the Republic of Austria. All other travelers: Please check whether you require a visa on the official website of the Federal Ministry of the Interior or the Austrian public administration.
Generally, Schengen visa applications must be submitted to the Austrian representation (embassy or consulate) responsible for your place of residence. If there is no Austrian representation in your country of residence, you may apply at an embassy or consulate of another Schengen country that represents Austria (e.g., Germany). See the current list of representing Schengen partners here. Please note that many embassies require a prior appointment to file your visa application.

Invitation letter for your visa application
We provide an invitation letter to support your visa application to registered participants. To receive a letter, indicate that you need one during the registration process. During the registration process, you will have the opportunity to deliver the following information to complete the invitation letter:
- Full name (as on passport)
- Date of birth
- Nationality
- Passport number
- Company/institution name
- Job position or student status
- Dates of travel
We do not issue invitation letters without registration. Please note that we have no authority over the visa application process and visa refusal does not constitute grounds for cancellation of the registration. We encourage participants to start the visa application process as soon as possible to allow sufficient time for visa processing. Participants are responsible for obtaining any travel documents and permissions required for their attendance. We strongly advise participants to apply early and to take out travel and cancellation insurance.
Accomodation
For the 2nd World Symposium on Sustainable Transport and Livability Bnetwork has been appointed as the official housing office. A selected range of hotels in Vienna have been secured to provide congress participants with reliable accommodation options, transparent conditions, and convenient access to the congress venue.
