Green Meeting
Our event is organised as a Green Meeting in line with TU Wien’s sustainability principles. The following sections outline how we minimise our environmental footprint — from travel and venue choices to resources, catering, and waste — and how you can help us make the event more sustainable.
Information for participants
Please choose an environmentally friendly means of travel whenever possible or form carpool groups. Use public transportation or walk.
We kindly ask for your support on site with the transportation survey.
This survey is conducted as part of our Green Meeting certification process and is used to calculate the event’s carbon footprint. For this purpose, we will ask you at registration for details such as the postal code of your departure location and the mode of transportation you used to travel to the event (e.g., bicycle, public transport, etc.).
Help us make this a sustainable event and take the opportunity to present yourself and participate in an environmentally conscious manner.
Together, we send a message: our commitment goes far beyond theory. Because when it comes to implementing sustainability goals, every single active contribution counts.
